Why I came to Texas: I was drawn to Texas mainly because of tradition. Ever since I was a young kid, I used to always watch the Longhorns. It's always been a dream school for me. When I came here on my visits and saw the family atmosphere, it got me hooked on it. Ever since then, I always wanted to come. As a person, Coach Brown is a great inspiration. As a coach, he doesn't cut corners. He tells you the straight, hard truth, whether you like it or not, and I like that. I like honesty.

Why I came to Texas: The coaches are really straight up with you. They tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. They're more like family than other coaches that I talked to at any other school. Coach Brown is a really honorable man. He's very straightforward with you. He's just a great person to be around.
